Battery Disconnect Question.

Im getting ready to do some work on the engine (valve gasket cover replace) Im going to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. Will this reset my service intervals (ie my car says its due for an oil change in 2000ml). I have the extended maintenance package so I don't want to mess with the numbers or reset them because all the maintenance is paid for for another 12K.

Help!

No, disconnecting the battery will not reset the service counters.
