I haven't tried to put mine on yet, can it possibly be harder than the crank sensor? Figured after that this would be cake.

well to be honest i guess i am getting the affect now, because some say taking the stock sensor off is hard ass hell, but that only took me about 3-5 mins its was a cake walk.... But now that i am taking the procede sensor off where the stock sensor was, its taking me 45 mins now its still stuck on like its glued!... I even have my engine bay torn apart where i can see the sensor and i don't get it.

I ended up using a short flat head screwdriver in the palm of my hand and pushing in the clip with my index finger and pulling it out at the same time... Mine was prolly as tight as yours is now

Lol. You can always upgrade to a used n54! There is lots of potential there already, but I am sure the N55 platform will catch up but then again the turbos has almost reached their turbo efficiency

You guys have got to be kidding me. It's a connector. Press the release tab and pull it out. If you are requiring more than a few seconds and additional hand tools, you are doing something very wrong

I am sure there is a lot more potential for the N55 but I guess it's moving along too slow for him I guess!! He just got the car!

I've been waiting for a thread like this to appear! The removal of that sensor is the hardest thing about procede install/uninstall..We had to use a screwdriver and push the clip out after removing the engine cover. After removal it looks like the procede clip operates differently from the oem clip. It must be pushed inwards(towards the front of the car) as you pull back, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Yes exactly, it drove me crazy trying to figure it out. The OEM one was alot easier.
