JB4 "CANflap" video demo!

I know its easy to do this mod manually but controlling the exhaust flapper electronically has been been one of the most requested additions to the JB4. I'm pleased to report that BMS has stepped up to the plate for us and figured out how to make it happen. It will be in the next firmware release.

Think someone tap into the same power wires on the flapper solenoid and reroute it to control a e-cutout?

That is pretty great actually. People are coming up with crazy ideas for electronic cutouts and bam here ya go, no more headaches.

That's great work.

I like the idea, you can have it louder when driving around the city and close it do kill the drone on the hwy right from the drivers seat.

This is common in the corvette world (they also have vacuum-controlled exhaust flaps). A bit more dramatic on the LS series, but cool regardless.

I don't see why not. You may need to route it to a relay to switch the cutout motors.
