Got a few scratches

Hi all,

Got some weird scratches on my car and was wondering what would take them out.

Here are some pics.

first pic i got while pulling out of a spot. love tapped someone with rough circular screws on their license plate.

second pic i have NO IDEA how that even got there or how it even happened. the angle is completely irregular.

how would i get rid of these?

thanks all

Meguiar's ScratchX has worked really well for me.

Rear bumper on the right side? You were parked on the left side of a one way street when someone scraped you coming out of the spot behind you, or was parking and scraped you coming into the spot behind you.

nope. i washed it on sunday and those spots weren't there. monday and tuesday i parked on the right side of the street and it was tuesday after work that i noticed it. i would know if i scraped someone while parallel parking.

Just look at the vertical scratches. the horizontal ones i could somewhat understand, its the vertical ones that throw me off.

You'd get rid of them through have the bumper taken off, sanded, and then have primer sealer, base, and finally clear-coat sprayed over, followed by a bake period and then "cut and buff" aka wet-sanded and polished. After, you'll have the bumper reinstalled, and then all those gashes showing white that are through the paint (and therefore unfix-able) will be gone. The mechanic re-leveling of the surface (polishing) will not work to fully restore the look - the damage is simply too deep.

Damn I have a white gash on my door, through the clear coat.. someone being stupid at a mall parking lot..

Guess only thing that will work for me is re-paint the whole door?
