Murray hasn't steered me wrong for mods before. Schomp on the other hand refused to inspect my brakes under warranty because they had aftermarket pads.

Regardless of mods, go to Murray. I found them to be far superior to Schomp for service.

I didn't have good luck with Murray. They chipped the paint on my 3 and then blamed me for it. I highly doubt I would ever use them again. I've actually had great service with Schomp so far.

There is no such thing as a "mod" friendly shop. All shops follow the rules of operation.

+1 I have had nothing but great service from Schomp. If we have some type of bimmer function coming up and I let them know then they always squeeze me in right away with a loaner. The only bad things I have to say about them are their "no-haggle" prices on their cars and their negative view on any non-Dinan mods.

Had all 6 injectors and the HPFP replaced under warranty at Murray a couple weeks ago. My car started having misfires out of the blue and was almost undrivable. Since I don't have my own garage, or a spare vehicle, I had no choice but to take it to a dealer with my mods.

Having a GIAC tune and catless DPs were non-issues. As my SA at Murray told me, they understand that many of their customers are performance enthusiasts, and unless a mod is obviously the cause of a problem, they don't go out of their way to deny coverage.

All of you guys are making me rethink about going all the way out to Schomp all the time.... How is Murrys loaner selection?

Unless you are best friends with the "field rep", I don't think knowing the service manager can benefit you any better then us.

You should delete your posts about this. I did. You may get them (especially these particular people you're referring in this thread) in trouble.
