335is front bumper is nice!

Will an E92 335is M-sport front bumper fit a E92 335i?... i really like the two air-ducts on the lower center grill... I already have an M-sport front bumper but i like the center grills with airducts... Has anyone done this before?...

the two air-ducts on the lower center grill should be direct fit. I just put on LCI mtech bumper on my e92 LCI, looks much better.

edit: I meant the 335is air-ducts on the lower center grill should be direct fit on pre-LCI mtech bumper.

It's the same thing. M-tech is just a different name for M-Sports. Not sure when this started happening, but it's OEM, not aftermarket.

As for OP: Since you have a 2007, the bumper fitment will be the least of your problems. The headlights are a different shape, and you will need that replaced.... and no guarantees that will work as it's far from "plug & play". Also, if you somehow manage to get the lights to work correctly, you'll also need a new hood to accommodate the lights.

I only want to change my CENTER LOWER GRILL WITH AIRDUCTS ... I want to keep my foglights... I just want that center grill... my front bumper is still kinda new, so no plans of switching too soon...

I believe the headlights are different.

Not sure if the bumper will line up right. I think someone said you need to do a LCI conversion which may mean lights which may mean hood also.

The sad part is I can not guarantee you since I put on those parts on my [red]LCI[/red] mtech bumper only...

this guy put on the side air ducts on his pre-LCI mtech.

The grill insert and ducts might work if you have a M bumper

BUT you can't take the whole bumper for a new 335is and put it on a pre-lci < 2011 such as a 2006-2010 and put it on and it will fit because the headlights are different therefore the bumper is shaped around them.

So I think the suggestion here is that you can fit the ducts and the blacked out grills on a pre-lci M bumper. THe link above the person had a pre LCI M bumper and just but the behind the bumper ducts in and not the 335is fins that insert into the bumper for the ducts.

the lower grille in the center should fit. The air ducts that go behind the bumper (and are for the oil cooler) will fit, as shown in that other thread. The air vents with the fins that are located on the bottom part of the bumper may fit, but wouldn't look good anyway because the fins have a certain protrusion that does not flow with the lines of the pre-LCI m-tech bumper.

Long and I looked at the 335is at last year's bimmerfest and concluded this (I wanted to do it too). I'm still looking into other ways to delete the fogs. I'm going to look into removing the foglights and just replacing the air ducts behind the bumper, but there would not be a way of securing the ducts to the bumper without the air vent attachment.
