Update to Idrive

Anyway that a pre-2009 nav can be updated to the harddrive based i-drive?

I don't think it's all that difficult if you have the correct parts, but it's not cheap.. and if you need warranty work done you have to swap back to the DVD Based system, then back to HDD based.

Do it only if you are out of warranty.

I've done a full retrofit. If you have idrive already it's pretty easy.
Lemme know if you need help.

I'm definitely interested in doing this...just a little squeamish about doing it myself. I've done plenty of stereo installs in the past but this is a bit more involved. Maybe somebody will start doing these on the east coast.
