AE and Sunroof question

Hey,

I just installed my camarro's AE' and fog lights and they look good BUT the question is that when I turn on the car, they flicker just a tad bit as in like even they lit. Its not consistent power sorta. You cant really tell but I can notice it and bugs me. Do I need to up the volts on it or anything or just deal with it

second of all, two weeks ago or so. Coded the car to where I can roll the windows back up and close sun room, but ever since than when I close sun roof it vents it half way. The car thinks that the closed position. What can be done in that instance.

Thanks,
Mo

As for the sunroof - try the Sunroof Initialization Procedure:

  • Insert key fob and turn the car ON - don't start it - push the start button with your foot OFF the brake/clutch
  • Next, push and HOLD the sunroof button up (vent position). After about 15-20 seconds, the sunroof will vent. CONTINUE HOLDING THE BUTTON UP. After another couple of seconds, 15 or so (might feel long, but keep holding), the sunroof will close, the open completely, then close completely.
  • Once the sunroof has closed completely, the process is over. It's important that you DO NOT let go of the button while the sunroof is going thru the initialization procedure.
  • You might get warnings on I-Drive or the on-board-computer, but that is normal during this initialization...

thats the cold test for angel eyes. let me get the code for you to stop the bulb tests for AEs.

Edit:

Disable the Cold Test for the Angels first and see if that stops it...
Code:
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L
     nicht_activ
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R
     nicht_activ
If it persists just go ahead and do the full AE error code out:
Code:
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L
     nicht_activ
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R
     nicht_activ
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_L
     nicht_activ
FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_R
     nicht_activ
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L
     nicht_activ
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R
     nicht_activ
(all in the NFRM/FRM)

Charles you can just code out the cold test on them and it will stop, and since you can leave the warm test functional, if they go out it will still throw a REAL error.

It doesn't really bother me but ill give it shot tomorrow or whenever it stops raining here. Do you or anyone know which cold test is for the fogs?
