When do you switch your tires?

I'm itching to switch my winter tires / rims for the 162s with summer rubber, but I know it's too early and I'll end up stranded in a Calgary spring snowfall.

Depends on the weather but it is usually around mid April to be safe.

I typically do it mid-April, when the lows are 8 degrees Celcius (below which my summer rubber becomes useless).

on the west coast...usually mid to late November put on winters...take off around late february to mid march.

I usually do it around mid-March, but this year I think I'm going to wait another week or two.

Edit: I ended up changing them today (March 27), bloody things were stuck, took me over an hour to get the first one off.
