Refinishing wheels barrels in chrome

Anyone know if Al's hubcaps does this? And the price? He is supposed to be very pricey so I was looking for a good alternative.....if you can help put with who to go to that doesthis please let me know! I got a set of rims and the seller said there was some pitting and chipping....man the rims are peeling everywhere, not minor chipping...fml.

Anyway please post with info on places that refinish chrome.....thanks guys....

by barrel, im gonna assume you mean lip, and by chrome, im gonna assume you mean polished... either way, go to Elite Powdercoating in Plainview, Long Island

I thought these were chrome, but as it turns out it looks like polished lips with peeling chrome faces.....I would like to have the faces polished as well but that sounds even more expensive than powdercoating or chrome plating because the existing chrome would have to be removed. Anyone know what the cheapest option is? They are 3 piece Klass forged...

i think they would still charge the same, i think they would sandblast the existing finish off regardless, then polish. call elite and speak to Herman, he'll let you know

I'd also recommend Elite Coating. Good guys. Knows what they're doing. Reasonable prices.

Yes tell them Sheldon sent you. I've referred a bunch of ppl from e90 and they have all been happy with results, the turn around is good too and prices are decent. Great work.

Dude, missed ya.....got there about 1130 and u had already left. Actually dealt with Anthony, seems like a super cool person. 652 to redo these in gloss black....can't wait, though I am disappointed they couldn't polish em. Gonna look super aggressive....285 25 20 rear tires, +25 offsets, and 245 30 20 in front, +33....4.5 inch lip in the back.
