Gas Price Spike??
OMFG wtf is going on.. Gas 3 days ago it was like 2.91 for premium then this week everything is 3.09! ... I havent been paying attention but gas just went up like $ .60 so damn fast.. I was so happy with 2.55 gas, like 30$ would almost be full tank but WOW 30$ is like halfway! WHATS GOING ON?????????? I wanna start a damn war! this is outrageous

probably not, but the gas companies can get away with making everyone think it is due to the war, katrina, shortage blah blah blah...i think they just do whatever they want

Typical seasonal upcharge. Funny how gas prices always go down in winter and up in summer. <sarcasm> Of course they wouldn't be maniuplating the market because that would be illegal. </sarcasm>

the reason the gas prices are so high is due to the Bush Administration. The bush family is deep in the oil business and im sure they are making something off of it. I think Opec reported that they made an extra 7 billion last year off the gas sold to the USA in profits alone. If you watch the news there isnt much complain about the gas prices and people arent doing that one day a week gas boycott thing and theres not enough attention on the subject for them to care to lower it, the funniest thing is that the price per barrel is going down and the pumps are going up . I remember in 1998 for one week gas prices went down to $.99 for a gallon of 92 premium here. I filled up my full tank that day for $12.00.

Pretty common they jack the prices up when the weather gets nice/summer months. Still only paid 2.69/gal for Shell Vpower93 today. A few weeks ago it was 2.39.
