Need help from the pros

I wet sand an area on the bumper using 1000 grit and then 3000 grit. After doing so I was able to remove the adhesive and scratch marks. Then I used the ultimate compound. My problem is that the spot that I sanded and compound still left a blurry or haze. How can i bring it back to shine like the other area.

You need to progressively go with a lighter and lighter abrasive. You now need (probably) a medium abrasive polish.... Once you get done with that then youll need a light abrasive polish maybe something like a swirl mark remover. For me i use some old megs 83 and 82 and that usually works pretty well for getting 2500 grit sanding marks out. I'm not a pro anything but I've had some success with them on deep scratches and situations where I had to wet sand... Though its an absolute last hope type of step for me.

3000 grit isn't going to remove all the 1000 grit marks. I'm not sure why you used 1000 grit in the first place as that's more aggressive than you needed most likely.

I'm willing to bet you need to go over the area thoroughly with 2000 grit, and then 3000 grit, and then a heavy compound, and then a heavy polish, and then a medium polish and finally a finishing polish.

This is exactly why I don't recommend people sand their vehicles - it's very very time intensive and very easy to ruin your finish.

1000 --> 3000 is a pretty big jump, should have done 1000, 1500, 3000, or 2000 to 3000.

after sanding, you need to compound the area to remove the sanding marks, then do a polish to remove the compounding haze, then do a final polishing to refine the finish properly. Its at least 3 steps after sanding, if not 4.

A process should be something like this:
2000
3000
m105 surbuf
menzerna 203 hydrotec tang
85rd black

OR OR OR
1000
2000
3000
wool/105
orange/105
white/203
black 85rd

obviously the compound/polishing steps will vary depending on your skill level, the hardness of the clear, the condition of the paint, etc.
