Color temp of headlights

Anyone knows what's the color temp of the headlights? I have 4350K on my fog lights and it's still a bit yellow compared to the headlights.

Go for 6000K or 6300K. But unfortunately, not all 6000K bulbs are created equal. I used Philips Diamond Vision on mine and they match the xenon quite well......

Just checked, I think Philips Diamond Vision comes in 5000K and they don't have H8. So if I'm gonna use another brand might be safer to go to 6000K.

Try MTec then. I actually ordered the Diamond Vision from Europe and didn't get them in HK......

PS. Strange, I can't find Diamond Visions on Philips site anymore....

I can only find Philips Diamond Vision H8 (5000K) on ebay selling for close to US$50/pair. It's made in Germany but for the Japanese market.

If I go for another brand, like what you said, whatever they claim might not be the case. If you are happy with Philips, I'm inclined to just go with this. 6000K might be too blue and it might be closer to the daylight driving angel eyes.

Headlights i havent looked at closely, but was trying to match some leds to the angel eyes.. not precise and only started the work, but the AE i guess are 5300k.. with less red than many of white leds (~6000k)
Some colors can be the same stated color temp, but because white is made of 3 colors, red green blue, you actually need a color coordinate to be precise (eg. 31,32) but they use color temp because most white leds are made from blue+yellow(=red+green), the higher the number, the more blue vs yellow, but does not tell you the prop. of redvsgreen used to make the yellow (sorry if this is too much detail)

if it matches on Mlai's car, its going to match on yours .. but if you buy a diff brand color, it could be anything

Does this look ok to you?
Probably the closest that I can get. The aux turning lights are the same color. Diamond Vision H8 and Hoen Xenon match blubs.

Pretty close. The fog lights are just a little bit bluer. What's the color temp of your fog lights again? Is it 5000K or 6000K?

Hard to match exact, depends what u want.. i think its somewhere between 5000k and 6000k
here are a few cheap ones you can try, i dunno if the stock 35w should replace with 55,60,80,100W ones, the wires should be ok, but the electric through the headlight module
anyone know if u need reprog for upgrade to Msport with the 55w fogs can answer this
(although stated '100W' the actual draw of these are 60W max, the cheap ones i tried at least)
H11 can fit H8, if not, just bend the metal base a little with pliers and it will
(not many H8 bulbs on the market)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2x-H1...Q5fAccessories

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H11-1...Q5fAccessories

No responsibilty if these will burn you car or not, find out if Msport fogs need reprog. and measure the wattage of the bulb with multimeter to be safe. (stock fog draws 2.2A, should be safe up to 3A with no testing)
