I'm trying to put together a comprehensive list of all 335i owners who are having or had a fuel pump problem. In the last few calls I have had with BMW when I mention that others are having the same problem they often ask how many. I would like to have an accurate answer for that question. A screen name will be fine.
Thx! |

I really think there needs to be a poll for this. Perhaps break it down into quarters since the car was initially produced last year. Then the person taking the poll the production quarter and whether they have or have had a bad fuel pump.

Mine (335i sedan 6mt) is in the dealershop now for same problem. It's been 10 days and they told me part is currntly back order. I only have 2300 miles on the car. This sucks.

Let's gather a group of at least 30 owners and file a class lawsuit against BMW NA! That will prompt them to issue a proper TSB or a recall notice.

After I told him the story of what’s going on with our cars he said that is would be VERY difficult to do a class action suit over this issue. I can't give you all the details on why not; his explanation was very complicated but in a nutshell, it's not going to happen. |
