lug nut brush

What type of brush do you guys recommend for getting in and around the lug nuts? I'm having a tough time finding the perfect brush.

I got a lug nut brush from autogeek, but my car is still new and haven't got a chance to use it yet. I have used q-tips on my previous E46, and they work ok. The q-tips with the plastic shafts are more durable.

I have a totally ghetto solutiuon I use. A chopstick with a piece of old cotton rag glued on and rolled around the edge a few times and then glued down again. I just get it wet with wash solution and agitate around the lugs when it gets too dirty or broken I toss it and make another.

1.25" angled paint brush. I wrapped that metal base where bristles stick out with electrical tape to prevent scratching the wheel.

1" round paint brush works amazing! I also have a double sided brush with more stiff bristles on one side and it works when you need some more "umpff" to break the stuff loose!

Mothers powerball cone does the trick, it gets lugnuts, into the corners and crevaces and leaves everything shiny.

I also use their mini and then ended up putting the mini extension arm on to the cone which allows the cone greater reach.
