AA XEDE vs Vishnu's PROCEDE

I am not sure which one i would like to go with. The AA XEDE with BOV, Exhaust, and the on/off switch sounds like an offer you can't resist. Yet, Vishnu has great customer service and everyone seems to go with him. I Do live in socal btw i might add, i know AA is in florida so would that mean i would have to install the AA myself?

Can anyone give me there .02 on the difference between the two, power wise, cost wise, if its detectable or not (i know vishnu's isnt, but mentions you have to take it out completely. Is that something anyone can do?)

Also, can vishnu put in an on and off switch, i checked frequently asked questions i believe the answer was a no. But if someone can clear that up i'd really appreciate it.

The car is on order, and i really am anxious to throw these mods in the first month after i get it. Your advice would be verrrry appreciated thanks.

I can only answer your general first question.

As a previous Vishnu customer on my WRX i would recommend VISHNU with top honors! Plus the Procede apparently is a definite step up from the Xede.

Check this thread for some info: PROcede or Active Autowerke Xede
I posted a reply there so won't repeat it here.

Also there is no "on/off" switch per se, however the PROcede can hold 2 maps so you can have a tuned map and a stock map, and switch to stock would essentially be the same as turning it off. Vishnu should be releasing a remote control switcher eventually so this would be easier to do but currently I believe you have to go in via a laptop and serial cable to make changes.

Watch the install video for PROcede, not too complicated after you watch it a few times.

Can't speak for AA but I imagine a regular shop could install the stuff with proper instructions.
