side window discoloration

Just picked up used e92 coupe last week and am loving it. It is in mint condition.

However, when washing it, I found the following blemish around the where the side window meets the trim.

Has anyone seen this on their cars, and if so, how do I get rid of it?

I'm assuming that this is the factory tint (the black border around the window), as the car does not appear to have any sort of tinting film. If this is a factory tint issue, do you think this would be warranty-able?
