No acceleration with DTC & DSC turned off.

So this has happened to me twice now. I am at a stop light, the guy next to me wants to race to the next light. I turn off DTC and DSC. The light turns green, I let the clutch out and.....nothing. The car bogs like its in 3rd gear for a couple of seconds before beginning to accelerate. It happened with my Procede V4 installed and again with my new V5. And both times against a C63 AMG, how fucking embarrassing I looked around and couldnt find any previous posts discussing it. Any ideas?

Other mods: AFE DCI, AA catless DP's.

V4 had 8-17 map with 4v029 firmware. Not sure what map V5 has, whatever Vishnu put on it when they updated it about a month ago.

I havent had a chance to check the logs, hopefully I will have time tonight after work. I have never noticed this without DTC DSC turned off.

Chris, just curious why you need to turn DTC/DSC off before you go for a street run(tracking I can understand). Is there an advantage to performance, ie 0 - 60 time? Seems if I turn them off and drop the hammer at a light, my back end just spins like crazy and I see my victim off and running.

I usually turn it off because if a tire spins because of a high spot in the road or pothole or something and the DTC steps in, its over with. I havent really checked 0-60 times as there is no drag strip closeby and Hockenheim ring is pretty twisty. The tires barking between shifts sounds pretty good too.

I haven't switched out the original clutch valve yet. I'm wondering if the engine is applying too much power and either the clutch is spinning for a second or the ECU senses this and cuts the fuel. Honestly it feels like I'm trying to take off in 2nd gear and the engine almost stalls before slowly increasing RPMs.

u can always check what firmw u have conecting v5 to laptop and going COMMS>firmw info, so if u have v5 now it should be with latest firmw and N54 5-10 v5 BETA maps. so with 5-10 v5 BETA maps firmw should be 106

Yeah Im assuming its not a FW/map issue as it was just updated by Vishnu. Also it was doing the same thing before I upgraded to v5. I guess I could try to replicate it in valet mode to be sure.
