Hi

I bought this cable

After all kind of hit and trial methods I read, I am unable to get the battery/ignition light. Nor the NCSEXEPT works.

I have tried using two different laptops. I have even soldered out the 8th pin on the cable.

Guys please help me out

Confused when there are so many threads of best cable/tested/working one to buy and your purchase that one? Not sure, what year is car? Maybe you need to desolder pin
7&8 to work.

Check in windows device manager where it sets the com port when you plug the usb cable and remember the com port assigned to the cable (com1,com2 or com3).
Double check if you have the obd.ini, open it with notepad and make sure it has the same com port.
