My oil cooler stated by BMWNA...

So i called Bmw Na in regards to a message i received from someone there called Dan saying...

"Bmw engineers have determined that the e92 stepw/zsp 335 doesn't need the oil cooler and there fore we have the right to change blah..blah..blah..blah."

then when i called and talked to Jeremy today he said my car does have it and i asked him if that was b/c bmw said as of march production they now have them or b/c they made an effort to find out about my car specifically...
he said my car specifically does have it guaranteed...i was still trying to focus a large long standing complaint on behalf of you guys also and how bmwna is handling it in an unacceptable way!!!!

My car is gonna be here on friday or saturday i won't be able to pick her up till early next week though!!!! but hell yeah she is almost here!!!!

oh and on a side not when i called and gave them my vin electronically to check my status it transferred my right to a rep...then this rep(Jeremy) said they don't track once it leaves Germany...i was quite confused as my car left quite a while ago and is on a carrier leaving on the 12th for Chicago...when i called my CA (who is extremely knowledgeable and of great help ALL the time) though he assured me this oil cooler thing accomplishment was done by me alone, he said they are full of it in reguards to them not being able to track it once it leaves Germany ..though his system he says is usually around an hour of what is really going on..oh and for the record my OC status still says en transit!!

Congratulations -- you'll love her! (True love -- stays in spite of shortcomings...)
The wait is brutal -- mine got delivered on a Saturday afternoon (the SA waited after closing to take it into the dealership) -- I picked her up 1st thing Monday, but Sunday was painful!

I suggest you look for the cooler before signing -- if you don't see it, you have leverage. Those of us who've been dealing can attest -- verbal answers from BMW mean nothing -- I've been mislead twice, but without anything written, I'm stuck with a "he said/she said"!

Why the so long wait... Here in Miami you find E92 floating on BMW's lot. When I bought mine, there were 6 E92 for to choose from and ended up with an E90.

How many 335 E92s were there?

My guess is Miami sells more than Chicago...
(I saw that story when I was looking at CPO BMWs -- South Florida has a high concentration of BMWs)

That could be true, I see E92 every day. More 328 model though.
They had 4 335 E92 at the lot when I bought mine, no 6MT.

Yep, convertibles are popular here -- when I bought my sedan, the first question everyone asked was: "why not a convertible?"

I'm looking forward to seeing an e93 on the road!
