S63TU Underrated?

I\'ve heard from a reliable source that during BMW\'s testing and development of the F10 M5\'s S63TU engine that BMW was able to dyno it at the rear wheels at 560hp (rather than 560hp at the crankshaft as is being widely-reported right now).

This would be entirely consistent with what is widely accepted as BMW being very conservative in its published figures - and an even more exciting prospect for future M5 owners!

Did the E60 M5 do 0-60 in 4.7? No,it got down to 4.3-4.1. Don't believe everything BMW tells you.

I believe that's 0-62mph in 4.4, maybe 0-60 in 4.2, 4.3?

I would dare to go even further - even assuming "only" 560 hp at crank, that's still a much better hp/weight ratio than previous gen M5, current gen C63, M3, ISF - all of which have Been repeatedly tested by all major car magazines at 4.1-4.2 0-60... This would lead me to believe that car

As I was saying - I would therefore bet all major us car magazines - which use the 1-foot rollout - will consistently get 0-60 times of 4.0 and perhaps 3.9 with perfect launch conditions and quarter mile at 12.2-12.4 seconds around 116-118 mph. Just my guess...

Even BMW with it's very conservative figures is claiming 0-200 kmph in 13.0 seconds (0-124mph) - pretty darn impressive!
