Hey guys, just installed jb4 with downpipes and after ripping the turbos a few rounds the engine light came on.

I am getting codes 29F4 and 29F5 which stand for "Catalytic converter conversion" and "Catalytic converter conversion 2".

Can anyone please explain to me what these codes represent, and what I should do about them?

you need a downpipe fix, or enable the auto code clearing on your JB4. If your DME software has never been updated since '07 auto code clearing likely will not work.

I did clear the code manually, and it came back after driving for 10-15 minutes. Is it anything I should be concerned about??

You have the codes because your car thinks there is something wrong with the cats. In your case they are missing. Use auto clear or they will keep triggering.

If I use the auto clear feature, won't that disable the engine light from coming on if another problem occurs? that way I'll be unaware if anything else happens.
