Painting wheels With Tires On?

I bought a Set new wheels from TireRack that recently came in. To save on shipping I had the tires mounted to the wheels. I had already planned on painting the wheels after I received them but wanted to know if anybody has had a shop paint your rims with the tires already on. They are currently a Matte Grey and I would be changing the color Matte Black. Do you think I should take off the tires and have the painted with just the rims or the painter should be ok dealing with the tires on the wheels?

Also anybody know of a shop that can do this within the Boston area?

A reputable body shop should be able to do this just call around and get the best prices.

wouldn't it be cheaper to dismount the tires and do it properly, than the spend the time taping them all up?
