Top down after rain?

Is it ok to put the top down when the top is still wet?

Do the 6 series have some kind of mechanism that protects rain drops or water left on the top from getting into the motors in the trunk?

The manual says I shouldn't leave the top folded when it's wet for more than a day, but you know, after the rain has stopped, you just have this urge to open up for at least briefly, so to breath some fresh air and feel that cool, moist breeze

Thanks

Let the fabric dry as the manual says. Close the car during night and it will be dry in the morning.
There is no problem with dripping water. Motors and mechanics are well protected.

Relax and drive as much as possible
