From 19s to 18s

Well guys I have decided to drop down an inch on rims, so I will be purchasing 18s soon...currently I am running 235/35/19 +35 offset on an XI all around and for 18s it will be 225/40/18 and my question is with the 18s can I run a +20 offset because I found a set of wheels that have 20 offset and I dont know much about how the offset works...thanks for the help! Also, I believe for the 18s I have to run 18x8 for an XI all around non staggered

Are you currently running any type of suspension or just stock?? 20 is a bit aggressive for the regular 3 series, but depending on what you've done with suspension you could make it work.

18x8 ET20 will give you plenty of space in the rear, its like having a 14mm spacer, in reality, you could use another 5mm spacer to push the wheel out a little more. as far as the front goes, it will be tight, but seen other did it before and it looks good, however imo, if you don't use the correct spacer to push the rear wheel out a bit, your front will be super flush while your rear is a bit tucked it, it may look unbalance and possibly ugly.
