switching tires and TPMS

On a straight line, my car always veers to the left. Before I take it to a dealer for alignment, I want to try switching my front left tires with the front right tires. I know that BMWs are equipped with TPMS. Are there any special precautions to consider when I switch the wheels? Or will it be just like any other car?

Thanks

No special precautions. It would just be like any other car. Your shop who is doing it should know exactly what to do without even telling them you got TPMS on it. Hope this helps.

Generally you will not need to if you set the tires to the proper pressures. TPMS is wireless and is located on the inside barrel, where the valve stem is.

What happens if you buy winter tires? Do you have to buy some sort of TPMS system as well? Do you have to buy sensors? IM very naive when it comes to these things
