Alternative Tires for 335i with sport package?

I am looking to replace my tires on my '07 E92 yet again, and quite frankly the tire life on the Bridgestone RE050s that I have replaced twice previously are killing my wallet with all the miles I put on the car. I am looking for a more reasonable tire set, that has to be a run-flat. I guess my specific question is what sizes will fit on the wheels and has anyone tried different sets?

I have Kumho Ecsta's on my 335xi, and they seem to wear very well. You failed to mention what size your wheels are. Mine are only 17's.

yep what size are your rims? I hope they are 18's try this.

Hankock V12s. Not only they are good and cheap and have descent thread life, there is always rebate around for those tires too....$40 or $60 bucks i think. I bought 2 sets from them, got my rebates on time.

I think now its $618 for tires + $80 rebate from Hankook and $50 rebate from Discounttire...Total 488 shipped after rebates

they are the five 'spoked' wheels that came with the sport package and I think 18 was the size, I was worried about switching from the staggered step up that is on the car now. I am looking for a harder compound too, 10,000 miles is a little short for me. Tires are front: 225/40-18 and rears are: 255/35-18

Go with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 in the run-flat type. You won't be disappointed.

I went the same route. They are awesome but not cheap.

Not a fan of RFT's. That being said, I have had the Bridgestones and the Michelins. Much preffered the Michelins. Lasted a bit longer and had better grip.

My 335i came with Michelin and they are awesome. Third set. I tried some conti all season and they sucked big time, and went back to the michelin run flats.
