Switched from Bridgestone to Michelin PS2
First thing I noticed was the size increase of the sidewalls. The PS2 is a much fatter and taller tire subsequently the car rides alot smoother and quiter, however with much disapointment you definitely feel a sense of unstableness or sway movement when switching lanes or any steering input is felt with a delay or swaying effect! Has anyone else felt this significant difference?

I haven't heard this before. I can tell you that going to any new tire with full tread depth can feel a bit floaty at first due to the tires release compound still being on the tire as well as the full 10/32nds of an inch of tread depth. Both can contribute to less snappy steering response and both get better as the tires wear.

If you are running stock pressures, try upping the tire pressure by a few pounds front and rear. I am convinced the relatively low recommended pressure was a BMW attempt to blunt the horrible ride from the Bridgestone rft's. I run 36/38 front and rear with the Micheliins, and both ride and handling are fine. I used to run 38 all around on my E36 M3 with the same tires.
