First time I leave my car parked outside my house for a few hours and then it was gone.

Just paint it yourself. I bought a spraycan from paintscratch.com, and use it for other trim pieces too.

That sucks to hear that.

When you get your new one, glue it in from behind with windshield sealer silicone. Just glop that crap in there. You'll still be able to "break the seal" if you need to use it, but it won't come out easily anymore.
