5 series wheels on 2011 e93 question

Hey everyone

This has been asked before but there doesn\'t seem to be a consensus on the answer.

I recently bought 20 inch style 356 wheels off a 5 series.

I currently have a 2011 335is and the tires that come on them are 255/35/18 in the back and 225/40/18 in the front.

Which tire setup do you recommend with the style 356 wheels hopefully without any rub?

The answers I seem to get online are

Either

275/25/20 in the back and 235/30/20 in the front.

Or 285/25/20 in the back and 245/30/20 in the front.

There seems to be consensus that anything over 25 series will show a wrong reading on the odometer for the back tires.

My questions are:

1. Do you agree with suggested setup or do you have any other suggestions?
2. Will these rub?
3. Will 255/30/20 back and 235/30/20 work?

Thank you

The problem I see with this set-up, is the rear.
The 356's are only 9" wide so I wouldn't put 285/25/20 on that. And there's only a couple of 275/25/20 out there, and even that might be a bit wide on 9".
Might be best with 235/30 front and 255/30 rear. But than you might need a spacer since the rear are ET44.

thank you for your reply
i am ok with putting spacers in the rear.

2 more questions then

1. will this setup affect the speedometer?
2. do you think it will it rub?

thank you again.
