I have 19" ASA AR1 wheels and looking to see if anyone has found a solution on replacing the tall ugly ASA silver caps that came with the car?

I'm looking for the same thing (sort of). I just bought 18" ASA GT1's for an e46 3 series. The ASA cap is about 64mm - all of the pop in type BMW center caps are 68mm. I have an aluminum decal that is 64mm that would have to have the edge trimmed off to fit within the lip of the ASA cap. The only problem is the decal is concave, so it won't lay flat and 'glue' on.

I'm trying to find a source for either a flat 64mm aluminum 'decal' or better yet, a 64mm pop in that will work with the ASA wheel. I have done extensive searches of ebay, amazon, and many Google searches that brings up many caps for OEM replacement.

This is what I want.

Any help will be appreciated.

It appears to be in the 55mm - 60mm range (I don't have calipers - just trying to hold up the emblem to my ruler). The diameter of the internal 'ring' that goes on the inside of the clips is 56mm.

A couple pics of the back side of the ASA cap - a little different then the OEM caps.

I think we're both out of luck. I tried looking all over (for 2 weeks) including eBay but I guess nobody makes ones that'll fit... I just said screw it and bought the bmw overlays from the dealership... The damn thing is pricey though, $11 a piece! Though they have 3 different sizes to choose from. Probably could've bought cheaper from eBay but I didn't feel like waiting any longer... Anyway good luck on your quest lol. Let me know if you ever find a solution. =)

Well, that is too bad. Those overlays - are they flat or concave? Are you going to stick them on top of the ASA center cap?

They're flat and yes, I just put it over the ASA caps. You can take the logo off and stick it on I guess but makes no difference. I'm still gonna see that tall ugly caps lol...

That's funny - out of all the searches I have done, I never came across those. At that price, it might be worth buying just to see if they would fit. I could see where these may have a gap, or the clips might not secure on the inside correctly. Thanks for the link though

I have trimmed the AL emblem that I have, and I'm going to try a glue gun to fill in the concave portion - adhering it to the ASA cap. I'll post a picture or two once I get it done.
