Specific Spacer Question
I am currently running this setup on a pre-LCI 2006 E90 330i ZSP.
Wheels: Vortex Tuning LM F: 19x8.5 et 35 - 10mm H&R spacer --> et 25 R: 19x9.5 et 20 - 5mm spacer --> et 15 Rear fenders & rear bumper shaved/resealed AC Schnitzer extended wheel locks H&R Sport springs on sport suspension Tires: Continental ExtremeContact DWS R: 265/30/19 F: 235/35/19 I want to run a 12 or 15mm H&R spacer in the front due to Turner Motorsport's warning: "A note about 10mm spacers: Any 10mm spacer is considered a custom fitment. The stock hubcentric lip on BMWs can stick out by as much as 11mm. This leaves a gap between the spacer and the hub which seriously compromises safety. We recommend using a larger spacer (12mm and larger do not have this issue) or check that the lip sticks out less than 10mm." 2 questions: 1) Will I rub significantly more in the front than I already do (front fenders not rolled) with a 12 or 15mm spacer compared to a 10mm? 2) Can someone who knows tell me the stock hub lip length of an E90 and if the car can or cannot fit a 10mm spacer properly because despite what Turner says, I do not see a gap between the hub and spacer, nor do I feel any vibration whatsoever. Thanks in advance!

The lip is ~10mm. If you don't see it protruding, then it's not a problem.
12-15mm would be 2-5mm more. Do the math. Take a ruler and see. The only way to prevent rubbing is to roll the fenders. Just do it. I run 9.5" et19 front and do not rub at all. |

Wouldn't it be easier and be more staggered if you just ran 35 et with the 20 et rear? Sure you're not super flush but I'm sure it more functional.... Zero rubbing.
