Don't these require coding to be installed? So that means you would have to pay the dealer to install them?

no they dont need coding. ive changed mine in the past in my drive way with no problem. i asked the shop they said the dealer just restarts the computer and re sets the fuel air ratio. but all u can do is unplug batteri and do same thing.

They do not require recoding, but you do need to enter the injector calibration numbers in to the DME so that they work correctly....Any dealer can do it, so can an independent shop with the correct equipment.

Located on the injector....two set of 3 digit numbers. Found this image from another forum:

They are specific to each injector; the number is calculated so that the DME can calculate the correct volume each injector will flow for a given pulse

Can you read me the numbers on the side?

I'm diagnosing a misfire and would only need one. Just curious if they are the ones pre or post recall.

I've had a couple extra as well. Same deal, thought mine were bad, found out that the shop didn't
Install the couplers. $.25 x 6 and months of misfire headaches vanished.
