I don't think any dealer has actually been assigned an allocation yet. BMW are waiting to receive all the orders from the waiting list before deciding which dealer will receive which production slot.

First cars will be delivered before 8th September though.

all i gotta say is that The WAit is going to get Very Hectic as soon as the car is released in Europe... and the allocation for United States officially starts (the waiting list gets submitted to BMW NA)

I dont know how you guys are surviving right now, I am already starting to die and allocations havent begun

Quite a few of the inital UK orders for the E92 M3 have been in white, however its not a safe colour in the UK for residuals. The only car that seems to have bucked the trend is the 997 GT3, which is still selling above list second hand for all colours including white. The Golf GTi, which was one of the first models to use white as a launch colour, has not survived as well.

White is viewed as a less valuable option in the UK market, but provided you choose it with your eyes wide open then who cares what the market thinks.

I am still waiting for my dealer to confirm if I can have a car this year, otherwise I will just wait for a E92 CSL a year later. Due to a bungle in the LOI process I am first in the queue for a CSL but somehow (??) I am 12th for the M3 (despite registering my interest over 3 years ago). I did send through an order (which hasn't been processed) and chose Interlagos Blue with Black leather (same as my current Z4M Coupe).

I have now lived with Interlagos on my Z4MC for almost a year and its an awesome colour. The number of times I have had people pronounce my car as being beautiful is embarassing (particularly since its a Z4). Women seem to particularly admire the colour, and those who would normally have no interest in cars seem to engage me in conversation to tell me how lovely the colour is. Trust me, I have some other nice cars and this NEVER happens with them.

So there you go - if you want the babes then Interlagos is the one to choose..

I do want the babes Steve, I do. This has just thrown a spanner in the works when it comes to deciding. Was going for either Space grey or Silverstone II.

Now might have to be Interlagos with Bamboo.
