E90 LCI Hyper white halos

Hey guys,

I have a 2011 E90 335xi with the yellowish halos. I'd like to buy some of those aftermarket lights to change them to hyper white.

--EDIT--
I just bought these: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=466798
Those say 2009+ e90 and are only $30

Thanks!

Thanks, I ordered these H8s for $30:
http://www.n54tuning.com/index.php?_...d&productId=72

I'm wondering the brightness difference between the arc angels I got and these you sell for ~3x more:

Thanks!

@Gsam I do not think those will work. You need this kind http://www.burgertuning.com/BMW_LED_angel_eyes.html but it may matter if you have xenons or halogen. I don't know much, just what I learned searching for mine.

I got the package today and installed them. They could be a tad "whiter" but they're pretty damn good for $30. I can not complain. I'm real happy with them. It's a definite improvement over stock.

First pic, right is stock, left is the new arc angels.
Second, arc angels installed.

The iPhone doesn't take that great of photos of them in the dark but you can see the color difference.

Hi Phil,
I have 2011 335xi sedan as well and ordered the 4 LED version from burgertuning.com.. Did you install them yourself or went to a workshop? I tried to follow instructions but can't figure out what to do after removing the rear caps. Can you help me?

Hey PC Boy,

They are a little tricky the first time, but after that they are pretty easy to install. Small hands help, but I have pretty big hands and still managed. Unscrew the cap and then take a flashlight and look inside the light's housing. You'll see the backside of the bulb directly behind the hole with a red and black wire coming from the plug its connected to. You'll have to grab the back of it and twist it to remove it, and then putting the new one in is a little more difficult in that you have to aim the new bulb into the hole, align it correctly, then twist into place. I just had to sit and try for a while but eventually you'll get it.

Hope that helped hah. Good luck!
