Pre-LCI corner lights

Is the light itself orange or is there orange plastic in the light housing also? I was wondering if I can just change the bulb to make it white.

the light itself is orange.. i changed mine to a white halogen bulb with a chrome housing around it and got myself some ambergones for the reflector and it looks 100x better.

I'm still looking for a LED solution that won't throw errors but may just settle for coding and throw an led bulb in there

BMW actually sells "silver" bulbs. They look better and cost a little more then eBay versions. They are not as aggressively coated in chrome so the light output matches the ones without the chrome coating. They look chrome but lights up yellow.

Here's mine. This is probably not your bulb type but they sell different bulb types too.

Yeah I think I'm going with the BMW dealer bulbs, I rather pay more then have to replace them more often.

I mean I had the bulbs in there for the past 2 and 1/2 years. But I didn't know about the one's the dealer sold so I may look into that.

Or I might just make my own LED bulbs.
