hid kits for e90 pre lci

Hi all

Can anyone recommend a decent hids kit to replace the halogen headlamps on my 2006 e91 pre lci 3 series touring.

To be honest I'm a bit bamboozled with the amount of different kits out there and the fact that I can get canbus errors etc.

Really want to get something with a really white light either 4300 or 6000k

any advice would be appreciated.

4300k is the color you're going to want to aim for if you want white (what OEM uses), 6000k will be blue-ish white.

You're probably going to want to update your headlight housings too as throwing a HID kit in the standard halogen setup will throw light all over the place and have a horrible beam pattern. Right now, I'm trying to decide between the fishcake setup sold on eBay or the umnitzas with the FX-R retrofit.

you will also get error codes.. Theyre a headache! But so worth it once youre done!

The only UK kits that I'm aware of that don't give errors are the ones specifically made for our BMWs, ie http://www.hids4u.co.uk/h7-35w-ultim...rsion-kit.html
