Rarest wheels
Well, I just bought new wheels (new to me, I got them off of FS section) and tires and the day I plan to have the wheels put on...I get rear ended. A girl behind me was doing her make-up and bumped into me. Nothing serious but now all I can think about are my wheels and how long I wanted them before pulling the trigger just to have them sitting in my condo waiting on my car to be repaired. Anyway, I was wondering, in your opinion, what are the rarest or most exclusive wheels you can think of? I know there are those wheels that are unanimously liked as well as wheels that are more of an acquired taste. I am wondering, looks aside, which wheels are hard to obtain within a reasonable price and/or effort?

IMO style 230's are the most rare OEM wheels I have seen. I have them, but have only personally seen them on a couple of other cars in person. I just dont see them much, and I like it that way

I like the old Maya RT5's. Don't see them vary often anymore, but there is an e46 M3 in the chicago area rocking them.

haha photoshop request for 18" teddy bears on a pre lci e90! jk
I see 230's around every now and then. I would have to say there are more obscure wheels that might be a little more uncommon. They are, however, very sexy haha. Shockin, you are right. Never seen those and they are absolutely sick on your car.

e90post simply does not "get it" when it comes to wheels.
Very few people put any effort into rocking cool kicks. 99% of people here just click and enter their CC#. You never see anyone piecing together and building a set of wheels. I'd say some wide OZ Futuras would be dope to see on an E9x. I'm the only E9x on CCW LM5s to my knowledge. ROFL |
