Will RE-11 in 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 fit on stock 230 rims?

2008 335i sedan, sport package suspension, not lowered.

IIRC stock rims are 8" wide in the front and 9" in the back.

I'm OK with the tires protruding slightly beyond the edge of the rim but want to avoid rubbing.

Might be a LITTLE close to rubbing, check the tire width and compare it to stock and measure if you have that space. On a sedan that may be different due to offsets. I have 235/35 up front and 265/30 on my rears, no rubbing at all, not even close, tire barely protrudes from the rim, not much curb protection but a tiny bit. Your sizes are correct though, 8 and 9. I have the same rims. On a coupe Id say you are fine, on the sedan, I cant say for certain since I dont have a sedan.
