SSR Wheels

I have a friend who wants to sell me a set of SSR Type C-RS wheels, 18x9 +45 offset. He ran them for one summer on his Z4 which he got rid off. So currently I have a 08 328XI that has style 185 wheels. Will those SSR fit with no issues? If not what would be the best wheel size and offset for my application?

Front will fit with a 8 or 10mm spacer no problem. Rear will fit as is, but you'll want a spacer to match the front and not have a sunk look... Buy a 10mm front and 15mm rear and you're good!

As for tires, run 245/35/18 and 275/30/18.. unless someone else has a better idea.

Well I don't know what's going on but I took off the front wheel to test fit and the back of the rim was right up against the strut tower. I'm not sure what the current offset is with my OEM 185s but the sticker says +45 on the SSR. People here that have 328xi is running 8 or 9 possibly 9.5 wide rims with and off set of 35 or lower. +45 would have been "in" more but as of this point, the front of the rim is hella flush with the fenders and the back part of the rim is right up against the strut. Spacers would help in clearing the strut but it would stick out past the fender. Thoughts? I'll try to take pics and post up so you can see what I'm dealing with a little later.

With some spacers that could possibly fit. To get the outer clearance to what we recommend you'd need a 5mm spacer or so, and for the rear you would need a 13mm spacer or so.

What am I not getting here? If I put a 5mm spacer on the front, I understand that would help clear the rim rubbing against the strut tower but wouldn't that bump it out more past the fenders? I haven't tried test fitting the rear yet but this weekend is looking good. Something to do this weekend...
