The Cobb Tuning AccessPORT ECU Flash simply replaces conservative factory settings with more aggressive calibrations that result in impressive gains in torque and horsepower while still maintaining a high degree of safety for your N54 engine. The tuning is extremely flexible and allows you to choose on the fly one of the performance maps that are loaded onto the AccessPORT. If you are looking to extract the most out of your N54 the AccessPORT even allows for custom mapping. Typical performance gains from the Cobb AccessPORT are increases of 30% peak horsepower and an amazing 38% increase in peak torque. This tune is an ECU flash, not a piggy-back tuner, there will be no added devices to your vehicle's ECU.

What is the difference between the 2011 Z435i w/DCT and the 2011 Z435is that allows this to work with the 35is and not the 35i?

I've got a Z435i w/DCT and definitely be interested in this product, but based on the Application list above this won't work on my vehicle.

Thanks.

I believe the 2011 Z4 35is still uses the N54 engine just like the 2011 BMW 335is coupe and the 2011 Z4 35i uses the N55 engine.

COBB won't be developing the a software for the N55 until the Pro Tune is finished for the N54 . At least that's what I've heard...

pretty sure the 2011 Z4 35i has the N54 as well. That's why I thought it strange. I may just end up ordering one anyway. I don't see why it wouldn't work on the 2011 if it works on the 2009 and 2010. They should all have the N54.

If the 2011 Z4 has an N54, it will work, but I'm pretty positive the 2011 BMW Z4 35i has an N55, while a 2011 BMW Z4 35is uses the N54.

In Canada at least the 2011 35i is the N55, while the 35is is the N54. In 2009 / 2010 the 35i had the N54 engine.

Yeah, I think the US version is still the N54 for 2011 or at least this thread seems to indicate it is.

Hey Zpost,

Good news! Just confirmed with COBB this morning that the Z4 applications are good to go. Only the Stage 1 available right now, but in the next few weeks they should be releasing other stages.
