mine went around 55,000.
you will get a code before it fails, but it will not trigger a service light so if you do not have a scanner you will not see it. |

Great thanks. I have a code for thermostat. I was told you might as well change the pump it's in the same area. That's why I was wondering if I should do it. I wasn't going to if the recommend mileage is 100,000 miles or something like that. I 'm at 61,000 miles right now. The odd thing is I have that code but my car doesn't overheat.
