Custom grills, What do you think?
I made these for my X5, and can make them for any model.
I work at a dealer with a body shop. These start out as a new set a BMW grills, I dismantle them and put them through a treating process, primer them for a matte finish, then paint them black. We custom mix the colors, and can do any colors wanted. After many coats of paint and masking this is what I came up with. What do you think? Do you think anyone would be interested? Obviously not too cheap. I think it will set your car apart from all the others. |

If you really wanted this (not sure who would), why wouldn't you just by black grills and then use vinyl for the slats? Much cheaper then painting it.
Oh, and your X5 is not an ///M. |

Guess I'm in the minority, but I think it looks pretty cool. Little less flashy than actual M emblems or completely rebadging your car as something it isn't.
That being said, aren't the colors in the wrong order?

some bmws can pull it off and ive seen some that make it look nice but the X5 is not one of them, or any X for that mater unless it is an actual M. Sorry to shut your idea down but it doesn't look as good as you think it does lol
