big willow****12/18 $90 w/ free timing!

Looks like this will be it, for this year at least Extremespeedtrackevents.com is hosting a track event at WSIR on 12/18 for $140, but with this coupon code it's barely anymore than an autox event @ $90 not to mention the free timing. Streets of willow last week was amazing with you guys, and this event is sure to be just as much fun if not better

PM if you'd like the discount code

Btw this will be everyone's first time on big willow w/ exception of colatkitty(not sure), so I'll be starting in beginners and moving up as needed. But I don't think I'll have any problems passing on that straight

I'll most likely be driving my S2K instead of the Mcoupe, unless I sell it this week.

See you guys out there.

LOL, I thought my memory was bad.

You will definitely enjoy the big track in your Boss, although the speeds that you can attain in your car can get pretty scary especially around turn 8-9. Nonetheless, I'm sure you will have tons of fun.

See you guys out there!

If you haven't driven WSIR during this time of the year, beware that the morning sessions may be in sub freezing temps.

I was just there last weekend, and saturday we ran WSIR. During my morning recon laps and my first session the car's on-board icy warning kept coming on. I couldn't get enough heat into the tires to make them grip well. If you're on über summer tires or R-Comps, be extra careful for the first 2-4 laps and don't push it until the tires are fully warmed up.

Have fun and be safe guys! I'm gonna have to sit out for a bit. Been super busy so I haven't had a chance to sort out some of the issues with my car. I've been getting some steering wheel vibration while going 75+ since the last track day so I gotta get that sorted out. Hopefully it's as simple as wheel re-balancing. I'm thinking if that's not the issue it's probably a bent wheel, wheel bearing, or tie rods. Anything I miss that can be a source of the problem?

No worries! Don't forget the alignment! Too much toe caused vibrations over 75 for me. Most likely wheel balance, bent wheel or alignment. I doubt the bent wheel though.

Alignment is definitely on the list. Gonna try to go to Westend this time and get cross balanced while I'm at it.

This might make them feel a bit better. Mine came in at $1293 without proof of ins. OOPS.

That still makes me laugh, how ridiculous of a fine is that?

How was it Roy? Can you give us a compare and contrast with Streets?
