Video comparison of LUX H8 Angel Eyes and stock halogen

I just installed the LUX H8 v3 Angel Eyes into my 1 series and thought it would also be helpful to post the video here as the 3 series could use the same bulbs. I used manual exposure during the video so that you get a sense of the actual brightness between the LUX and the stock halogen bulb.

I did take some pictures too, but thought the video would help give a better idea of how they looked at various angles. Not sure if the video accomplished that, but I tried . Here is a picture.

It was pretty easy to do the install. There are 2 clips that hold the back cover on the headlight assembly. Undo those clips, then take the cover off. Getting the cover off and on was the hardest part, since there are two tabs on the bottom that I wasn't aware of. Here is a video I found that outlined the steps pretty clearly.

Probably took me about 20 minutes total (15 minutes on the first light, then 2nd light only took 5!).

The distribution is pretty even. The inner ring may be slightly brighter, but it is due to the design of the headlight as even with the stock halogens the inner ring was brighter.

I experienced the same thing... inner light is much brighter but looks good.

I think the video is a good idea. I'll do that with my hid fogs later.

I just took another video outside so that you can see how well the LUX performs in the daylight. The sun was very low and shining from the passenger side of the car.
