Got my HPB HID foglight kit..install question.

Just got my high perfomance bulb foglight HID kit for m E90 LCI 335i M-sport...

Kit came very nicely package and looks like a very high quality kit.. cant wait to see how it performs! And then give a full review.

Anyways, in the picture below is this how it should be hooked up and then just connect the oem foglight into the female port that is picture that isnt plugged?

Kit also came with two small ground wire? do i need to use these?

> Definitely YES - a proper, GOOD Ground connection is necessary for the kit to work without problems. Make sure you remove the paint from whatever metal area you choose to ground the wire to prior to fastening it down.

I mounted my ballasts directly to the front frame rails on either side with a aluminum bracket - and I still ran the Ground wires also to the frame rail

Thanks alot...

Ok so here is the wire and the screw that came...
Do i secure one side of the ground wire to the hole that is picture on the ballast??? And im guessing i gotta find and use m own bolt and nut?

Also what is the small plastic piece on the screw? remove?

I had mine for 6 months and I dident have to ground anything they don't flicker and run great.

Interesting... So ground or no ground... i just send a email to higher performance bulbs, but maybe more members and Jeff can chime in aswell.

Some people need to use ground others don't. It's recommended.

I installed them today without the ground wires... everything works fine, i mounted one ballast touching the frame rail... And the other one on plastic.. The one on plastic doesnt turn on sometimes.. and sometimes they do
