New 335i owner
Hi All
I've had my car a month now but only just getting around to starting this thread! It's my 1st BMW and I'm absolutely delighted with it and love it to bits. 335i SE 35k miles Monaco Blue & Dakota Black Leather Auto with paddles 19" 230 Wheels with RFT's (don't actually find them that bad) I-Drive Nav Pro Hi-Fi Front/Rear PDC Ipod connection I love the car as is, but will be adding the subtle M3 spoiler (maybe even the skirts), and de-badging at some point. Can anyone recommend a source for the spoiler? I'd prefer if it came painted so that I could just stick it on. Or will a BMW dealer supply/fit but at I presume an extortionate price? |

Cheers Guys.
Kerr, your car looks wonderful. I hadn't thought of de-chroming, but I will definitely consider it after seeing yours. Is your car black? I think the tints suit black more than they will suit Monaco Blue. Reggie - the only lip-spoiler I can find on SSDD's website is the Carbon Fibre one. Can you please post a link to the normal one? |

Looks like he's on holiday until the 18th. I've had one from him before and it was very good quality. Excellent paint match. I used No More Nails instant grab tape to I'd it on.

+1 for SSDD, excellent colourmatch and once on, no way I can see of telling it's not dealer supplied. The 3M tape (although took me 20 mins to line up how I wanted the lip ) grabs instantly and not had any problems with it coming up at all.
Before I put the lip on I did wash the car, waxed it and clayed the boot to make sure the surface was as clean as possible.

Hi mate, and welcome. I had a Monaco Blue 335d with factory tints and shadowline trim (instead of chrome) and it suited the Blue wonderfully in my opinion.
Here is two pics.

It was fitted in the factory as was the tints as options instead on the usual chrome. I didn't make my original post clear.
I'm not sure of the cost to do it retro fit, but I'm sure quite a few guys on here have done so and will know the accurate cost. |

Very difficult to retrofit.
Extemely expensive, severla hundred. You can tape it with trim tape. Looks fine.

lovely car mate. Shadowline trim is quite expensive, most people get it wrapped in black gloss or matte vinyl. I think it costs around £100 to have it done. Looking to do mine as well.

Why? the SSDD ones fit perfectly and come painted for about half the price.
