pre-LCI to LCI facelift??

i have a pre LCI e90, with the mustache kidney grilles, if i were to cut the hood where the mustache bolts on, would i be able to fit LCI kidneys on there?

i know i have seen some conversions done, just never got any info on them

Not 100% sure on the hood (I'm kinda assuming that's how people have done it before), but I can tell you that you're gonna need to modify the m3 rep to fit the LCI kidneys. Good luck and let us know how it turns out!

I think you'll struggle to get them to fit as I fitted pre LCI grilles in my LCI bumper during the whole front end conversion while waiting for the new hood.

This pic shows the massive gaps around the pre lci grilles, so the lci grille would be much larger than the holes in the pre lci bumper

nice reference! I could somewhat tell from looking at the side-by-side difference in the past but my judgement on fitment doesn't carry any weight behind it
