Just bought the new Sony DSC-W200 camera, and snapped a few photos around the house, and let me tell you - THIS CAMERA KICKS A$$!!!

It literary does everything for you especially if you are not a photo pro but still like taking good pics.

Here are some random shots.

If you are on the market for a nice camera, check out the DSC-W200

Some of the features are:
- 12.1 Mega Pixels
- Full HD 1080 images
- Auto Face Detection
- Auto Focus up to 7 or 9 points (I cant remember)
- Exchangeable Lens
- Image Stabilizer
- Double Anti-Blur Technology

I hope my review will help someone Enjoy the photos

I think because they are not static links, but links to a php script?

When I right click and open I can see you pics.

Not at all bad for a P&S. But it shows that, like zero to sixty times in cars, more mega-pixels are not the end all be all of digital photography.

Sweet photos!

You're right - it looks like an excellent camera for a non-professional. I've got the pro model Canon DSLR and it's very heavy and large in comparison. You really have to have good knowledge of how to use the equipment, or the photos can turn out very disappointing. The MP rating of your Sony is quite impressive so enlarged prints would turn out nice. Thanks for the post!

I'm sorry, but those don't look very sharp to me. Almost looks like there is a softener on there.

probably due to the re-sizing. nothing a little sharpening in photoshop won't fix.

7.0 megapixels and beyond are absolutely fine for point and shoot cameras.

congrats on the buy. now go take some worthwhile photos of cars and don't come back until you do.

I had a Sony W50 and it was great but extremely cheap. I dropped it on my soft carpet and it has not worked since. I will probably get a canon next.

People, have some manners..

The OP bought a Sony and really likes it. Is there really a reason to rain on his parade and say another manufacturer is superior?? If he is happy with the performance, why put it down?

If you want to compare brands maybe start another thread to highlist the pros and cons of each company... No need to do it in someone's thread who has already made a decision/investment..

Enjoy the new camera..

Looks pretty good especially for a P&S. Pretty clear and sharp. However I see quite a difference on your 4th picture between the over-exposed sky and darks. How does it work in the dark like at night or inside? That was my main problem with my old P&S.
