Good deal on a demonstartor?

Hi guys. First post here. I currently have an 05 525 (old man's car) while it is very nice and smooth, I miss shifting and driving fun, which is a 330 6-man sport.

Is $39000 a good deal for a 330 with 6-man, sport, premium, heated seats? 4000 miles on it.

Car looks perfect.

IMHO - No Way. In those 4k miles, the car has been absolutely hammered. The savings you keep now, will not cover the problems down the road.

My car is perfect, same options, and not beat on. I will sell mine to you for the same price with 1k less miles!

I would lease the demo, so being hammered will be someone elses problem long term perhaps. I have seen both ways. Baby a car or just drive the piss out of it, it comes down to build quality. I am on my 6th BMW with the 525, these things are built very well. The hammering part does not bother me, I just wanna know if 39K is fair for a demo. If I add up the invoice, I get right around 38K. Should a used car not sell for that number? I have a good relationship with the dealer and my salesman, I don't mind if he makes a commission on me as long as it is not rape. I think the dealer itself should take less for the car, not the difference coming out the sales guy and finance guys ass.

I am really trying to get to a monthly payment number that is the same as my 525.

I'm not sure why you want to pay $1k over invoice on a demo when you can probably get the same deal on a brand new car. I can understand if you can't wait and need the car now.

The most the dealer will knock off a new one is $1000-1500. They also use a higher money factor. They are the only BMW around without driving 200 miles away.
